2022 | Term 1 | Week 5 | March 14-18

This week, kids learned in Luke 13:34 that just like a mother hen protects her chicks, God loves and cares for His children. The Bible tells us that one day Jesus looked over the city of Jerusalem and cried. He said, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often I have wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.” Jesus wanted the people of Jerusalem to come to Him so He could shelter and protect them, but they were not willing to go to Him. Kids learned that Jesus loves His children so much, He won’t stop calling until ALL of His children come back. Bible Memory Verse: “How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” Luke 13:34
