2022 | Term 1 | Week 7 | March 28 – April 1
This week, kids learned in Luke 15:20 that God’s love for us doesn’t change when we’re good or bad, and His forgiveness never ends. Jesus told the story of a man with two sons. The youngest son took all of his money and belongings and left home to do bad things. The father was devastated. After a while, the youngest son spent all of his money and didn’t even have food to eat. He returned home, hoping his father would hire him as a servant. Luke 15:20 says, “And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” Kids learned that like the father in this story, God is always ready to forgive His children and welcome them home. Bible Memory Verse: “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” Luke 15:20
