2022 | Term 1 | Week 8 | April 4-8

This week, kids learned in Luke 15:20 that God’s love for us doesn’t change when we’re good or bad, and His forgiveness never ends. Jesus told the story of a man with two sons. TThis week, kids learned in John 12:1-8 that at a dinner with the disciples in Jesus’ honor, Mary got out a bottle of expensive perfume and poured it on Jesus’ feet. She then used her hair to wipe His feet. Kids found out Judas wasn’t happy about this because he said the perfume could have been sold and the money given to the poor. But Jesus knew Judas’ intentions weren’t good, and He let everyone know that what Mary did showed Jesus is special and prepared Him for His death and burial. Bible Memory Verse: “Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.” John 12:3
