2022 | Term 2 | Week 3 | May 16-20
This week, kids learned in John 13:31-35 that Jesus wanted the disciples to be ready when He ascended to heaven. He prepared them by letting them know that they could not go with Him, but they could continue to spread the word about Jesus as Lord. He told them that people would know that they were His disciples when they loved others as He had loved them. Kids learned that they, too, can help others know Jesus by loving others well. Bible Memory Verse: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
