2022 | Term 2 | Week 5 | June 6-10

This week, kids learned in Acts 2:4 about the day of Pentecost and how the Church was born. All of the disciples were together in one place in Jerusalem when suddenly they were filled with the Holy Spirit and able to speak in different languages to share the Gospel. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit gave the early church the gifts of forgiveness, truth, and a new life. The Holy Spirit offers those same gifts today. He leads us to truth, forgives us, and gives us a better way to live. Kids celebrated the birth of the Church and learned that the Holy Spirit is still working today in every believer. Bible Memory Verse: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:4
